DSI (Distributed Systems Interface)Bus, developed by the Freescale, is an Automotive Protocol. It is mainly used for the sensor of the Automotive Airbag. At present, many manufacturers of the Airbag System have adopted the Protocol Analyzer DSI Bus, such as TRW and DENSO (DENSO CORPORATION). The advantages of the Protocol Analyzer DSI Bus are that all Sensors can be connected in serial to do the transmission, and with the help of the Protocol Analyzer DSI Bus, the Senors can be powered on.
At present, the safety of driving an automotive is attracting people’s attention, and the Automotive Airbag is being developed fast. The Protocol Analyzer DSI Bus is used for the Automotive Airbag. There are so many signal kinds for special Network , tha normal hasLIN,CAN,FlexRay,TIP/C,SAEJ1850 ,TFCAN,ASRB,MOST and so on , The American Auto Engineer Association (SAE) separates the special serial signals into three classes according to the transmission speed ,there are A,B and C . The class of A contains TTP/A (time Triggered Protocol/A) and LIN(Local Interconnect Net work),the transmission speed is lower . The class of B contains J1850, VAN and low speed CAN.The class of C contains TTP/C, FlexRay and high-speed CAN(ISO11898-2). It is used in the relative parts of Auto safety or higher and more stable system ,such as Power System and so on ,the transmission speed is quicker , the normal speed is from 125Kbps to 10Mbps . FlexRay is one kind of high-speed transmission Bus (10Mbps per channel), it has the characteristic of time-sharing multiple-work and owns the functions of high and stable transmission and debug , it is very suitable for the new generation Auto control system.
FlexRay is the vehicle signal which is commended by the Philips company and Freescale company ,because it owns the superior efficiency , it can replace the original CAN Protocol Analyzer to save the space of hardware according to the transmission of FlexRay, what’s more , it is with multiple nods, it can make FlexRay become the connection between the main network of Auto electron and other separated network system, the Cycle deflection of FlexRay signal is very low , it makes the FlexRay become the best choice in the instant control system for necessary.

With the development of the embedded Microcomputer Control Technology and the Fieldbus Technology, the Process Control for the modern train has developed from the centralized Direct Digital Control (DDC) system to the Distributed Control System (DCS) which is based on the network. MVB (Multifunction Vehicle Bus) which is based on the distributed control is a recommended project of IEC61375-1 (1999) TCN (Train Communication Network). MVB possesses the features of high timeliness and reliability. According to the modernization development trade of the train and vehicles and the requirements of the reliability, safety and communication timeliness, MVB will gradually become the communication bus standard of the next generation vehicles.
The Protocol Analyzer MVB adopts the Manchester Encoding Technology according to the IEC-61375. The fixed Frequency is 1.5Mbps, and there is an 8-bit CRC following each 64-bit Frame data. The Frame of MVB can be divided into two parts, Master Frame and Slave Frame, which consist of START, DATA, CRC and END. The type of the different Frame is judged by the START. There are three kinds of Transmission Medium of Protocol Analyzer MVB, which are ESD (electric short-distance medium), EMD (electric long-distance medium) and OGF (optical fiber medium). Specifically, the transmission distance of the ESD (RS485 is not isolated) is 20m and it can connect 32 devices at most; the transmission distance of the EMD (Transformer is isolated) is 200m and it can connect 32 devices at most; the transmission distance of the OGF can be up to 2000m and it outputs data through the Star Coupler.
The Protocol Analyzer MVB Decoding Module of Zeroplus Technology can analyze the status of the Packets (START, MSD, SSD, F_CODE, ADDRESS, DATA, CRC, END, etc.) in the Transmission and Control signals of the MVB. In the Protocol Analyzer MVB Decoding Module of Zeroplus Technology, the packet in the signal will be displayed with the graphic mode, which can improve the working efficiency and save the time of the manual decoding and calculation.
WTB

The Train Communication Network (TCN) can be divided into two parts, WTB and MVB. Thereinto, the WTB is used for connecting the Wire Trains which can be grouped dynamically, and the MVB is used for connecting the fixed devices in the train. WTB is mainly responsible for the communication among the carriages of the train. This Train Bus has 32 nodes at most, and each train can have one or more nodes.
The Transmission Data of WTB adopts the Manchester Encoding, and the Transmission Rate is 1MHz; the time width of a Bit is 1us. When the former part of a Bit is Low Level and it is changed into High Level in the middle of the Bit Time, it is represented as Logic 1. Conversely, when the former part of a Bit is High Level and it is changed into Low level in the middle of the Bit Time, it is represented as Logic 0.
The Protocol Analyzer WTB Decoding Module of Zeroplus Technology can analyze the status of the Packets (HEAD, FLAG, DATA, DESTINATION, LINK_CONTROL, SOURCE, DATA_SIZE, FCS/NFCS, END, etc.) in the Transmission and Control signals of the WTB. GPIB(General-Purpose Interface Bus)is a kind of the most common Device Communication Interface. It was developed by HP in 1965 and named as HP-IB at first. Until 1975, the HP-IB was defined as an IEEE-488 Standard by the IEEE Association and renamed as GBIP. In 2003, the IEEE-488 was updated to the IEEE-488-2003 and defined the 8-bit Digital Parallel Communication Interface. So the Transmission Speed can be up to 8Mbps, the distance of the cable can be up to 20m and fourteen Devices can be connected at most.
The GPIB was defined as the IEEE 488 Standard by the IEEE in 1975. With the constant evolution, the SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments) of the programmable Instrument was added in 1987, so multiple Devices can be controlled through the PC. Nowadays, the GPIB has become a rather common Interface and many manufacturers have used it to develop their products, such as Keithley Test point and NI Lab view.
Protocol Analyzer GPIB of Zeroplus Technology can be used to analyze the signal of the GPIB and the packets (such as Command, Data, Ren, /Ren, End, IDY, SRQ and IFC) in the corresponding signal. It mainly uses the internal Flash Array Device to store the Data and communicates with the ICH through the LPC/FWH protocol. And it can support 16 FWH Devices at most, which will reduce the Pin Count from the BIOS to the Flash ROM greatly.
